| The Brute
Ordinary people one and all, it was a chance trip to a certain mall that would bring them together. Little did they know that this mall trip would unite them all, and ultimatly be the cause of their deaths! The world's first mutate villain is born in the form of a young 12 year old boy. Upon being bombarded by the mysterious Dr. Victor (Dr. Victor Von Doom!), the young boy grows in size and strength his skin becoming grey and rocky. His transformation and eventual rampage is what draws the team into service. During the Brute's attack a young woman named Cindy is wounded and the Spider is supposedly killed. Undergoing the Burn young Cindy actually defeats the Brute just as she succumbs to the ravaging effects of the Burn. As the Spider dies his last words express his wish to be redeemed. A word that would change the team forever. The stopping of the Brute is only the beginning for the team as barely an hour later the team saves many lives from a high rise fire. Contacted by the ever mysterious Agent Sterlin, the team hopes to live up to the mantle placed upon them as the world's first hero team! |

| A World Without Heroes
The Redeemers are a team of heroes joined together just after the fabled pass of the Pheonix Comet. They exist two years behind normal continuity, living in a world as new to heroes as they are to being heroes. They forge ahead through uncharted waters, making their way in a world that never asked for them or the villains they face. Ironicly it would be the first villain they faced who would also be their last! |
